Cancellations, No Shows & Late Arrivals
As a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valuable clients (that’s you)!
A sustainable business is a balancing act; my goal is to be flexible in scheduling while honoring my time and the ability to earn a living wage.
Cancellations:
There is no fee for cancelling or rescheduling if you contact me via phone, email, or text within 12 hours of your appointment start time.
Non emergency same day cancellations outside of this window may be invoiced 50% of the service fee minus sales tax.
Severe Weather: Severe winter weather is not a surprise here in Minnesota; news outlets love talking about it days to a week in advance! Please assess your comfort level around traveling during these times and contact me ASAP to reschedule if needed.
Illness: Please cancel ASAP if you are sick are beginning to feel sick. This allows your body time to rest and heal, and protects me and my other clients.
No Shows:
My scheduling system sends a confirmation email or text at the time of booking, and a reminder 48 hours prior to your appointment. These resources are designed to keep our mutual commitment on your radar and allow you to reschedule ASAP if needed.
I know it’s a bummer to oversleep, have the wrong date or time on your calendar, or accidentally forget your appointment all together however, non emergency situations such as these may be invoiced for the missed session in full.
Late Arrivals:
If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened and the full session rate will be due.
COVID-19 INFO
-I am vaccinated including the 2024-25 Covid and flu vaccines.
-Masks are optional. I am no longer masking as a default, but am completely comfortable and willing to wear one during your session if that’s your preference. I will begin to mask again if there is a winter surge in Covid cases.
-My office has a HEPA air purifier to aid in cleaning and circulating the air in the treatment room.
-Thorough cleaning & disinfecting of the space between sessions
-Please call and cancel your appointment ASAP if you have any symptoms of illness or begin caring for a person with symptoms.
